CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-93- l
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE
CITY OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
WITH CRAWFORD AND COMPANY TO PROVIDE
WORKERS' COMPENSATION THIRD PARTY
ADMINISTRATION SERVICES EFFECTIVE
DECEMBER 1, 1993, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of providing for cost
efficient administration of the self -insured workers'
compensation program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the appropriate City Officials are HEREBY
Authorized to Execute an agreement with Crawford and Company, to
provide Third Party Administration Services under contract terms
outlined on the proposal attached as Exhibit 111".
SECTION 2: That the effective date of the agreement shall
be December 1, 1993.
SECTION 3: This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
