RESOLUTION NO. R-93-,L7
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE
EXCEPTION TO PERMIT THE OPERATION OF A
RESTAURANT LOCATED AT THREE LAKES PLAZA
(BOSTON CHICKEN) SPECIFICALLY ON THE
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD
AND NORTHWEST 31 AVENUE; REQUESTED BY THREE
LAKES PLAZA, LTD., PETITION #33-Z-93; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for the
granting of special exception to permit the operation of a sit
down restaurant in Three Lakes Plaza (Boston Chicken) located
on the Southwest corner of Commercial Boulevard and Northwest
31 Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
thereon and has recommended approval of this application; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that the
Petition for special exception would be in keeping with the
public health, safety and general welfare of the City of
Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Petition for special exception to
permit
the operation of a sit-down restaurant in Three Lakes Plaza
(Boston Chicken) located on the Southwest corner of Commercial
Boulevard and Northwest 31 Avenue, requested by Three Lakes
Plaza, Ltd., Petition #33-Z-93, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
1. The applicant shall be required to pay all appropriate
fees associated with the special exception transfer.
2. The special exception is transferable administratively
pursuant to compliance with City Codes and Submitting
documentation; and payment of fees.
3. Any additional health, safety and welfare issues not
currently addressed.
