CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-93- ::�__�-'
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
APPROVING A DELEGATION REQUEST FROM REGENCY
HOMES, INC., TO CHANGE A NOTE ON THE FACE OF
A PLAT FROM 140,000 SQUARE FEET OF COMMERCIAL
TO ALLOW 48 SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES, VACATE A
PORTION OF A RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT AND MODIFY
THE NON -VEHICULAR ACCESS LINE ALONG
UNIVERSITY DRIVE, FOR WOODMONT TRACT 56, P.B.
123, PAGE 44, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF
BROWARD COUNTY; PETITION NO. 13-P-93; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a request has been made to amend the notation
on the face of the plat previously approved by the City
Council:
"Woodmont Tract 56"
WHEREAS, the note currently restricts the Tract to
140,000 square feet of commercial and the applicant is
requesting the note be changed to allow 48 single-family
homes; Petition No. 13-P-93; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that all
applicable fees have been paid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby approves a
delegation request by Regency Homes, Inc., to change the
notation on the plat of Woodmont Tract 56:
The plat is restricted to 48 single-family homes.
SECTION 2: That the right-of-way easement on the corner
of University Drive and Northwest 78 Street is vacated.
SECTION 3: That the modification of a non -vehicular
access line along University Drive is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
