4 A RESOLUTION RELEASING A PERFORMANCE BOND
5 POSTED FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS BY WESTLAKE
VILLAS, INC. FOR SPRINGLAKE II NORTH (WEST -
LAKE VILLAS); AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Westlake Villas, Inc., as Principal, with The
North River Insurance Company, as Surety, has filed with the
.City Performance Bond No. 20904 in the amount of $227,602.00 to
guarantee public improvements at Springlake II North (Westlake
Villas); and
WHEREAS, the City Engineering Department has found that
the work has been satisfactorily completed and has recommended
release of said performance bond upon receipt of a one-year
warranty bond in the amount of $72,873.25.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
T,.MVb%RAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That performance Bond No. 20904 posted by
Westlake Villas, Inc., as Principal, and The North River
Insurance Company, as Surety, in the amount of $227,602.00
posted for public improvements at Springlake II North (Westlake
Villas) is HEREBY RELEASED, subject to receipt of a one-year
warranty bond in the amount of $72,873.25.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
