RESOLUTION NO. R-93-
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID TO PURCHASE
SCHEDULE 80 PVC PIPE AND FITTINGS FOR
GALVANIZED WATER SERVICE LINE REPLACEMENT
PROGRAM AND WATER VALVE REPLACEMENT
PROGRAM, BID NO. 92-25; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News/Sun
Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County,
Florida, on Wednesday, December 9, 1992 and Wednesday, December 16,
1992; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Tuesday, December 29, 1992; and
WHEREAS, Sav-On Utility Supplies, Inc., 4250 SW 59 Avenue,
Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33314, is the lowest fully responsive and
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of Sav-On Utility Supplies, Inc..,
250 SW 59 Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33314, in the amount of
34,498.19 to purchase schedule 80 PVC pipe and fittings for
Galvanized Water Service Line Replacement Program and Water Valve
Replacement Program for three Utility Projects:
Project No. 92-03 - Galvanized Service Line Replacement
Program - $8,146.19 funded from Account No. 425-364-
