A RESOLUTION RELEASING A PERFORMANCE BOND
S POSTED FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS BY GREATER
MIAMI FEDERAL SAVINGS & LOAN ASSOCIATION
6 AND JOSEPH COGAN FOR GREATER MIAMI FEDERAL
9 (INTERCONTINENTAL BANK); AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Greater Miami Federal Savings & Loan Association
and Joseph Cogan, as Principal, and with Fidelity and Deposit
Company of Maryland, as Surety, has filed with the City
performance Bond No. 5948783 in the amount of $50,425.00 to
guarantee public improvements at Greater Miami Federal
(Intercontinental Bank); and
WHEREAS, the City Engineering Department has found that
the work has been satisfactorily completed and has recommended
release of said performance bond upon receipt of a one --year
warranty bond in the amount of $12,606.25.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That performance Bond No. 5948783 posted by
Greater Miami Federal Savings & Loan Association and Joseph
Cogan, as Principal, and with Fidelity and Deposit Company of
Maryland, as Surety, in the amount of $50,425.00 posted for
public improvements at Greater Miami Federal (Intercontinental
Bank) is HEREBY RELEASED, subject to receipt of a one-year
warranty bond in the amount of $12,606.25.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
