CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-92-
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR PUBLIC
SERVICES - UTILITIES DEPARTMENT, SIX INCH
DUCTILE IRON WATER TRANSMISSION LINE,
PROJECT NO. TUE 90-24, BID NO. 92-16; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward
County, Florida, on Monday, June 8, 1992 and Monday, June 15,
1992; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Thursday, June 18, 1992; and
WHEREAS, Man Con, 1132 NE 48 Street, Pompano Beach,
Florida, is the lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of Man Con, 1132 NE 48 Street,
Pompano Beach, Florida 33064, in the amount of $56,052.00
for Bid. No. 92-16, Public Services -Utilities Department, Six
Inch Ductile Iron Water Transmission Line, Project No. TUE 90-24
is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: That authority is hereby given for the
transfer of $32,561.00 from account no. 419-371--588-99C entitled
TUE Contingency Account, transfer of $2,500.00 from Account No.
419 301-536-504 entitled Repair Water Mains and Accessories Line
Item, and transfer of $1,600.00 from Account No. 419-301-536-506
entitled Repair Meters and Accessories Line Item to Account No.
419-301-536--633 entitled Water Distribution Improvements.
SECTION 3: That the appropriate City officials are hereby
authorized to execute any and all contract documents in
connection with the awarding of the bid.

contendere.

statute to mean (1) a predecessor or successor of a person or
a corporation convicted of a public entity crime, or (2) an
entity under the control of any natural person who is active

shareholders, employees, members, and agents who are active
in the management of an affiliate, or (4) a person or
cdrporation who knowingly entered into a joint venture with a

Florida during the preceding 36 months.

director, executive, partner, shareholder, employee, member
or agent who is active in the management of the bidder or
contractor nor any affiliate of the bidder or contractor has
been convicted of a public entity crime subsequent to July 1,
1989.
