CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-92- J
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR BID NO.
92-19, TWELVE INCH EMERGENCY POTABLE WATER
SUPPLY INTERCONNECT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
TAMARAC AND CORAL SPRINGS IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT, PUBLIC SERVICE DEPARTMENT/
UTILITY DIVISION, TUW PROJECT 90-04; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward
County, Florida, on Monday, August 3, 1992 and Monday, August 10,
1992; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Friday, August 14, 1992;
and
WHEREAS, Chaz Equipment Company, P.O. Box 3476, Boynton
Beach, Florida 33426, is the lowest fully responsive and
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of Chaz Equipment Company, P.O.
ox 3476, Boynton Beach, Florida 33426, in the amount of $71,933.76
for Bid No. 92-19, Twelve Inch Emergency Potable Water Supply
Interconnect between the City of Tamarac and Coral Springs Improve-
ment District, Public Service Department/Utility Division, TUW
Project 90-04, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: That the transfer of $10,946.00 from Account
# 425-371-588-975 entitled TUW Contingency Account to Account # 425
364-533-69D entitled Twelve Inch Inter -Local Emergency Water
Supply, is hereby approved.
SECTION 3: That the appropriate City officials are
hereby authorized to execute any and all contract documents in
��onnection with the awarding of the bid.

SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective
Immediately upon adoption.
