CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-92-�_Ao
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARKING
REQUESTED BY SUNRISE COMMERCIAL REALTY, AGENT FOR
CINNAMON TREE OFFICE PLAZA LOCATED ON THE NORTH-
WEST CORNER OF PINE ISLAND ROAD AND NORTHWEST 57
STREET; PETITION NO. 27-Z-92; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 24 of the Tamarac City Code provides
that the City Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street
parking and loading requirements whenever a hardship would exist by
adhering to strict application thereof, and further provides that
the waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health and
welfare of the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at Cinnamon Tree Office Plaza
located on the Northwest corner of Pine Island Road and Northwest
57 Street; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public
hearing thereon and has recommended approval of this application;
and
IWHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Sunrise Commercial
Realty, agent for Cinnamon Tree Office Plaza.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application by Sunrise Commercial
Realty, agent for Cinnamon Tree Office Plaza, for a limited parking
waiver by appealing Section 24-581 (a)(30) to reduce the parking
requirement for medical offices from one (1) space per one hundred
and fifty (150) square feet to one (1) space per two hundred (200)
square feet at Cinnamon Tree Office Plaza located on the Northwest
'Corner of Pine Island Road and Northwest 57 Street, Petition No.
27-Z-92, is HEREBY APPROVED, and such limited waiver would not be
detrimental to the public safety, health and welfare of the
citizens of the City.

SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
