CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-92- � 7 G.-
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE
SIGN CODE REQUESTED BY MR. SUPER SUB, INC.,
AND DIET DIPPER, INC., FOR A DIRECTORY SIGN
LOCATED AT WOODMONT COMMONS NEAR THE CORNER
OF MCNAB ROAD AND NW 80 AVENUE, FRONTING
MCNAB ROAD; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
I WHEREAS, Mr. Super Sub, Inc., and Diet Dipper, Inc., have
requested a waiver from Code Chapter 18 governing signs; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official reviewed said waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the waiver to the Sign Code Chapter 18
requested by Mr. Super Sub, Inc., and Diet Dipper, Inc., for a
directory sign located at Woodmont Commons near the corner of McNab
Road and NW 80 Avenue, fronting McNab Road, is HEREBY APPROVED to
permit the following:
1. A 24 square foot sign face;
2. A 12 inch letter height;
3. Each name to be 5 square feet in sign area;
4. A 7-foot sign height; and
5. A sign 18-feet from the property line
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
To revise the site plan to show the location of the new sign.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
