CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-92- 195
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION
REQUESTED BY PARK PLACE THERAPEUTIC CENTER,
LTD., FOR A PROPOSED OFFICE BUILDING ON THE
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF UNIVERSITY DRIVE AND
NORTHWEST 71 COURT; PETITION #37-Z--92; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTT,VE DATE -
HEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for th
granting of special exception for a proposed office building on th
southwest corner of University Drive and Northwest 71 Court to allo
parking within the required street yard setback and to allow
building 42.8 feet in height were 40 feet is permitted, as requeste
by Park Place Therapeutic Center, Ltd.; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public meetin
thereon and has recommended approval of this application; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public bee
given an opportunity to express their views concerning th
application for special exception; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that th
petition for special exception would be in keeping with the publi
health, safety and general welfare of the City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0;
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
,5ZCTION 1: That the petition for special exception for a
proposed office building on the southwest corner of University Drive
and Northwest 71 Court to allow parking within the required street
yard setback and to allow a building 42.8 feet in height where 40
feet is permitted, requested by Park Place Therapeutic Center, Ltd.,
Petition #37-Z-92, is HEREBY APPROVED.

upon adoption.
