CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-92-a00
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF
PARKING REQUESTED BY PARK PLACE THERAPEUTIC
CENTER, LTD., FOR A PROPOSED OFFICE BUILDING
LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF UNIVERSITY
DRIVE AND NORTHWEST 71 COURT; PETITION
NO. 36-Z-92; ,AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE,
WHEREAS, Section 24 of the Tamarac City Code provides that
the City Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street
parking and loading requirements whenever a hardship would exist
by adhering to strict application thereof, and further provides
that the waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health
and welfare of the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at the southwest corner of
University Drive and Northwest 71 Court; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
thereon and has recommended approval of this application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Park Place
Therapeutic Center, Ltd.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1:. That the application by Park Place Therapeutic
Center, Ltd., for a proposed office building located on the
southwest corner of University Drive and Northwest 71 Court to
reduce the stall width from 10-feet to 9-fee 6-inches and to allow
the use of the new square footage to calculate parking where gross
square footage is required, Petition #36-Z--92, is HEREBY APPROVED,
and such limited waiver would not be detrimental to the public
safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City.

,SECTION 2s This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
