CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-92-,&"_k1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC APPOINTING MITCHELL S. KRAFT TO THE
POSITION OF CITY ATTORNEY FOR THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE D2aE.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the public
interest is best served by securing a full-time City Attorney for
the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article XI of the City Charter, the City
Council has determined that MITCHELL S. KRAFT is qualified to
serve as City Attorney for the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, Section 11.01 of the City Charter requires such
appointment be made by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
Sgg,TIQN• That the City Council hereby appoints MITCHELL S.
KRAFT to the position of full-time City Attorney.
SECTION 2: That the appointment of MITCHELL S. KRAFT shall
include:
(A) $62,500.00 in salary per year.
(B) $ 6,000.00 in deferred compensation.
(C) $ 1,200.00 car allowance.
(D) Normal City Benefits.
(E) Six (6) months severance for termination without cause.
(F) Effective starting date February 18, 1992.
SECTION It This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
