CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-92aLp

A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
GENERAL ELECTION VOTING ON AMENDMENTS TO
THE CITY CHARTER #92-1 (SECTION 7.13),
#92-2 (SECTION 7.13), #92-3 (ARTICLE VII),
#92-4 (SECTION 7.04), #92-5 (SECTION 7.05),
#92-6 (SECTION 7.06); AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a General Election was held on March 10, 1992,
wherein the electorate was asked to vote on amendments to the
Charter of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the
results of the machine voting and absentee ballots and has
certified such results to the City Clerk of the City of
Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has reviewed the certification
from the County Canvassing Board and has presented their
findings to the City Council for a formal Certification and
Declaration of the results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 That the following is hereby certified and
declared as the official results of the public vote at the
General Election of March 10, 1992, for the proposed Charter
Amendments:
AMENDMENT 92-1 Amendment to Section 7.13 of the City
Charter - Provide Capital Expenditures
Involving the Water and Sewer
Utilities or Mandated by Law Excluded
from Referendum

SECTION 2 That amendments to the Charter #92-1,
#92-2, #92-4, #92-5, and #92-6, having received approval of a
majority of the voters voting on these amendments, they do
become a part of the existing City Charter of the City of
Tamarac, which was adopted at the General Election held on
March 10, 1992 and subsequently amended.

SECTION 3 That amendment to the Charter #92-3, not
having received approval of a majority of the voters voting
on these amendments, does not become a part of the existing
City Charter of the City of Tamarac, which was adopted at the
General Election held on March 10, 1992 and subsequently
amended.
SECTION 4 This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
