WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County, Florida, on Monday, February 3, 1992 and Monday, February 10, 1992; and WHEREAS, bids were opened on Wednesday, February 19, 1992; and WHEREAS, DRD Enterprises, 7000 Nova Drive, # 306, Davie, Florida 33317, is the lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the bid of DRD Enterprises, 7000 Nova rive, # 306, Davie, Florida 33317, in the aggregate amount of $5.50 per cubic yard for lime pond dredging and ultimate loading, hauling and disposal for fiscal years 1991/1992, and also 1992/1993, 1993/1994 and 1994/1995 at the City's option, Bid No. 92-04, is HEREBY APPROVED. SECTION 2: That City Council waives the informality of DRD Enterprises lowest responsive, responsible bidder from omitting the submission of a 5% Bid Bond with the bid.
