CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-92-��
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
A 1,800 FOOT CONCESSION STAND WITH RESTROOM
FACILITIES AT THE TAMARAC SPORTS COMPLEX TO
BRANG COMPANY, INCORPORATED OF FLORIDA , BID
NO, 92-10; AND PROVIDING AN EFFE„f, IIYE_DATE.
WHEREAS, the bids for construction of a 1,800 foot concession
stand with restroom facilities at the Tamarac Sports Complex were
opened on Friday, March 27, 1992; and
WHEREAS, Brang Company, Incorporated of Florida is the
lowest, fully responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECIJON -1--• That the bid of Brang Company, Incorporated of
Florida in the amount of $128,900.00 for construction of a 1,800
foot concession stand with restroom facilities at the Tamarac
Sports Complex is HEREBY APPROVED.
,qECTION 2: That the budget transfer in the amount of
$128,600 from Account #142-872-588-99C, Resources Available, to
Account #142-652-572-6DG, Recreation Facilities, Tract 27, is
hereby approved.
SECTION 3_ of This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of 1992.

SUBJECT: RECOMMENDATION FOR CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL FOR BID NO.
92-10, CONSTRUCTION OF 1,800 SQ. FT. CONCESSION STAND
WITH RESTROOM FACILITIES
Please place the following items on the agenda for the Special City
Council Meeting to be held on Wednesday, April 15, 1992.
(1) Consideration and approval to award Bid Number 92--10 for
Construction of Concession/Restroom Facilities at Tamarac
Sports Complex for $128,900.00 which includes a $2,000.00
deduction for PVC Wastepipe.
• (2) Approval of a Budget Transfer from 142-872-588-99C, Resources
Available to 142-652-572-6DG, Recreation Facilities, Tract 27
in the amount of $128,900.00.
This bid has been reviewed and recommended for approval by the
Purchasing Division of the Finance Department. Therefore, I
recommend that the low bidder, Brang Company, Inc. of Florida be
awarded the bid in the total.amount of $128,900.00.
