R-92-- 7 A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR TAMARAC PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT, WATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS, REHABILITATION OF FILTER NO. 3, TUW PROJECT 90-22, BID # 91-16; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. IWHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County, Florida, on Friday, December 20, 1991 and Friday, December 27, 1991; and WHEREAS, bids were opened on Monday, January 6, 1992; and WHEREAS, Utilities Services, Inc., 2301 NW 15 Court, Pompano Beach, Florida 33069, is the lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the bid of Utilities Services Inc., 2301 W 15 Court, Pompano Beach, Florida 33069, in the amount of $39,952.00 for Bid No. 91-16 for Tamarac Public Services Depart- ment, Water Treatment Plant Improvements, Rehabilitation of Filter No. 3, TUW Project 90-22, is HEREBY APPROVED. SECTION 2: That the funds are to come from Account #425--363-533-6HH entitled "Rehabilitation of Water Treatment Plant Filter No. 3". SECTION 3: That the appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to execute any and all contract documents in connection with the awarding of this bid.
