CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-92-
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR TAMARAC
PUBLIC SERVICES WASTEWATER COLLECTION
SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS, PUMP STATIONS NO. 14A
AND NO. 21 REHABILITATION, PROJECT NO.
88-24; BID NO. 92-09; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
30 News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward
11 County, Florida, on Tuesday, March 24, 1992 and Tuesday, March 31,
32 1992; and
33 WHEREAS, bids were opened on Friday, April 3, 1992; and
14 WHEREAS, Utilities Services, Inc., 2301 NW 15 Court,
15 Pompano Beach, Florida 33069, is the lowest fully responsive and
26 responsible bidder.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
18 TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
2 SECTION 1: That the bid of Utilities Services, Inc.,
2 2301 NW 15 Court, Pompano Beach, Florida 33069, in the amount of
23 $221,963.00 for Bid No. 92-09, Tamarac Public Services Wastewater
22 Collection System Improvements, Pump Stations No. 14A and No. 21
23 Rehabilitation, Project 88--24 is HEREBY APPROVED.
24 SECTION 2: That the Finance Director is hereby
25 authorized to transfer the following amounts from the contingency
26 Account No. 425-371-588-975 to the following accounts to fund the
27 project deficits:

29 Pump Station No. 14A - Account No. 425--367-535-6QM - $ 4,800.00
30 Pump Station No. 21 - Account No. 425-367-535--6QQ - $24,200.00

33 SECTION 3: That the appropriate City officials are
34 hereby authorized to execute any and all contract documents in
35 connection with the awarding of the bid.
