CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-90- 10S
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING DINA M. MCDERMOTT TO THE
POSITION OF ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER AND MICHAEL
COUZZO TO THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER/
DIRECTOR PUBLIC WORKS FOR THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has determined that the public
interest is best served by appointing Assistant City
Managers; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article V, Section 5.04 of the City
Charter, the City Manager has determined that DINA M. MCDERMOTT
and MICHAEL COUZZO are qualified to serve as Assistant City
Managers for the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, Section 5.04 of the City Charter requires such
appointment shall be with the consent of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby approves the
appointment by the City Manager of DINA M. MCDERMOTT to the
position of Assistant City Manager and MICHAEL COUZZO to
Assistant City Manager/Director Public Works.
SECTION 2: That the appointment of DINA M. MCDERMOTT
shall include:
(A.) $5,000 increase effective April 1, 1990
(B.) Use of City car for City business or monthly car
allowance.

SECTION 3: That the appointment of MICHAEL COUZZO shall
include no additional compensation or benefits at this time.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption and passage.
