CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-90 107
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ELIMINATION OF A
PLANT TECHNICIAN/SAFE'TY LIAISON POSITION WITHIN
THE UTILITIES DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR THE
CREATION OF A SAFETY COORDINATOR POSITION
WITHIN THE UTILITIES DEPT; AND PROVIDINC AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering/Utilities has expressed an
intention to reorganize that department by the elimination of a
position and the creation of another position; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reviewed the Director of
Engineering/Utilities planned reorganization and has determined that
it is in the City's best interest; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends adoption of this
Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The City Council hereby authorizes the elimination
of the following position from the Utilities Department:

SECTION 2: The City Council hereby authorizes the creation of
the following position within the Utilities Department:

Pay Grade
1 Safety Coordinator 8 16
This position is within the Utilities Department for payroll
purposes but will be working physically within the Risk Management
area of the Personnel Department.
SECTION 3: The changes contained in this resolution shall
become effective March 1, 1990.
