CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-9 0 - / / q
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ELIMINATION
OF A CREW LEADER POSITION WITHIN THE PUBLIC
WORKS DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION
OF A FOREMAN POSITION WITHIN THE PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has expressed an
intention to eliminate a Crew Leader position and create a Foreman
position; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reviewed the Director of
Public Works' proposal and has determined that it is in the City's
best interest; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends adoption of this
Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The City Council hereby authorizes the elimina-
tion of the following position from the Public Works Department:

SECTION 2: The City Council hereby authorizes the creation
of the following position within the Public Works Department:

1 Foreman 8 Range 20/

SECTION 3: The changes contained in this Resolution shall
become effective retroactive to January 8, 1990.

immediately upon adoption.
