RESOLUTION NO. R-90- 3 5
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR DEMOLITION/
DISMANTLING OF TAMARAC PUBLIC WORKS EXISTING
BUILDING, BID #90-10; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE,
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News/Sun
Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County on
Wednesday, April 25, 1990 and Wednesday, May 2, 1990; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Thursday May 10, 1990; and
WHEREAS, Wildcat Wrecking Corp. is the lowest fully responsive
and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDAt
SECTION 1: That the bid of Wildcat Wrecking Corp.,
P. 0. Box 2482, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33303, in the amount of
$19,500.00 for the Demolition/Dismantling of Tamarac Public Works
Existing Building, Bid #90-10, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: That approval is hereby given to transfer the
amount of $19,500.00 from Unexpended Funds Account 325-672-588-999 to
Building/Facilities Demolition Account 325-654-519-4YA to provide
funding for demolition/dismantling of the Public Works Existing
Building.
SECTION 3: That the appropriate City Officials are hereby
authorized to execute any and all contract documents in connection
with the awarding of this bid.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon adoption.

SPECIFICATIONS AND BID SCHEDULE
Invitation To Bid
All prices quoted F.O.B. Tamarac, Florida. Delivered and unloaded at applicable city destination as indicated below. The
following special conditions (if chocked) apply to this bid.

BIDDERS REQUIREMENT FOR CERTIFIED CHECK OR BID BOND: The City ahall loquire from all Bidders, a
c r'tified check or bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid, which tdtall be forfeited to the City in the event the Bidder
to whom the business is awarded, shall fail or refuse to comply with the specification of the bid. Checks will returned promptly
to the unsuccessful Bidders after award of bid. Failure to submit this bid bond with the bid could cause rejection of the bid.
PERFORMANCE BONDS: The City shall prior to the execution of the contract, require the Bidder so furnish bonds covering
the faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder in such form and amount as the
City may prescribe and with such sureties secured through the Bidder's usual sources as may be agreeable to the parties. If such
bonds am stipulated, the premiums shall be paid by the Bidder. The Bidder shall deliver bonds to the City no late titan the date
of execution of the contract.
