A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE
AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE- OF FLORIDA
,DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES FOR THE
TAMARAC MULTI -PURPOSE CENTER, PROJECT
#F88-246/F89-072, DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL
RESOURCES CONTRACT #C-58-71= AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac passed
Resolution number 89-278 approving and accepting grant funds
for the construction of the Tamarac Multi -Purpose Centers and
WHEREAS, the project will not be completed construction
,by the contract deadline of September 30, 19901 and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has requested an extension
deadline of December 31, 1990,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the appropriate City Officials are
hereby authorized to execute an Amendment to the Agreement
with the State of Florida Department of Natural Resources for
the Tamarac Multi -Purpose Center, project #F88-046-F89-072,
Department of Natural Resources Contract #C-58--71, relating
to the extension of the project completion date to
December 31, 1990, a copy of said agreement being attached
hereto as "Exhibit 1".
SECTION 2: This Resolutio

Amendment to Agreement
This Amendment entered into on 61d/3 0
19 90, serves to amend portions of the Agre en , dated June 1,
1989, as amended November 4, 1989, by and between the Department
of Natural Resources, hereinafter referred to as DEPARTMENT, and
the City of Tamarac, hereinafter referred to as GRANTEE, for the
recreational project known as Multi -Purpose Center, Project
Number 088-046/F89-072.
In and for the mutual covenants between them, the
DEPARTMENT and the GRANTEE agree that the following amendment
shall apply to the above referenced Agreement:

The Grantee shall complete all project development on or
before December 310 1990.
In all other respects the Agreement of which this is an
Amendment and attachments relative thereto shall remain in full
force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have duly
executed this Agreement on the day and year first above written.
