CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-90--ZZ3
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR BASIN
EXCAVATION TO LINES AND GRADES, 800 L.F.
OF 24 INCH REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE,
MANHOLE, INLET STRUCTURE, SODDING AND
SEEDING; TUW Project 89-37; BID NO. 90-19;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Laudedale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward
County, Florida, on Thursday, June 28, 1990 and Thursday, July 5,
1990; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Monday, July 9, 1990; and
WHEREAS, Man Con, Inc., is the lowest fully responsive
and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA;
SECTION 1: That the bid of Man Con, Inc., in the
amount of $35,925.00 for basin excavation to lines and grades,800
L.F. of 24 inch reinforced concrete pipe, manhole, inlet structure,
sodding and seeding is, TUW Project 89-37, is HEREBY APPROVED,
funding to come from Account #140-650-539-6EC, Drainage Improvement
Fund.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are
hereby authorized to execute any and all documents in connection
with the awarding of this bid.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this /f day of 1990.
