CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-90- 17-5-
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT 3 TO THE AGREEMENT
DATED DECEMBER 9, 1987 WITH SCHARF AND ASSOCIATES,
INCORPORATED, FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR THE
PUBLIC SERVICE ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLEX ON LAND
SECTION 7, TO REMOVE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
SERVICES, INCORPORATED, AS THE CITY'S CONSTRUCTION
MANAGER AND TO DESIGNATE MICHAEL COUZZO AS THE
CITY'S REPRESENTATIVE FOR THIS PROJECT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the appropriate City officials are hereby
authorized to execute Amendment 3 to the Agreement dated December
9, 1987 with Scharf and Associates, Inc., for architectural
services for the Public Service Administrative Complex on Land
Section 7, to remove Construction Management Services, Inc., as
the City's construction manager and to designate Michael Couzzo as
the City's representative for this project, a copy of Amendment 3
to the Agreement being attached hereto as "Exhibit 1".
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.

IN TAMARAC, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac, (hereinafter "CITY") and
Scharf & Associates, Inc. (hereinafter "ARCHITECT"), a
Florida, corporation, entered ,into an agreement dated
December 9, 1987 for architectural services relating to the
City of Tamarac Public Works and Public Utilities/Engineering
Complex, Nob Hill Roads and
WHEREAS, Article 8.12 of the December 9, 1987 agreement
between the CITY and ARCHITECT provides that the agreement
must be amended by written amendments and
WHEREAS, on July 12, 1990 the services of the
Construction Manager, as defined at paragraph 1.6 of
Amendment No. 2 to the original agreement dated December 9,
1987, to wit Construction Management Services, Inc.,
10 Fairway Drive, Suite 301, Deerfield Beach, Florida 33441
were terminateds and

WHEREAS, the CITY and ARCHITECT wish to enter into this
amendment to set forth the new Construction Manager and
Owner's Representative;
NOW, THEREFORE, WITNESSETH, in consideration of the
mutual terms and conditions, promises and covenants herein-
after set forth, CITY and ARCHITECT agree as follows:
1. That the December 9, 1987 Agreement between the
CITY and ARCHITECT for architectural services for
the City of Tamarac Public Works and Public
Utilities/Engineering Complex on Land Section 7,
and Amendment No. 2 to said Agreement, Article 1,
Section 1.6, Construction Manager , is hereby
amended to provide that commencing July 12, 1990,
the*Construction Manager/Owner's Representative is
Michael Couzzo, Assistant City Manager/Public Works
Director, 7525 Northwest 88th Avenue, Tamarac,
Florida 33321. i Michael Couzzo, Assistant City
Manager/Public Works Director is the CITY'S author-
ized representative/agent for the project, except
as otherwise provided in the December 9, 1987
Agreement. All direction from the CITY will be
through Michael Couzzo. Accordingly, all communi-
cation to the CITY, from the ARCHITECT, shall be
through Michael Couzzo.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have made and executed
this Agreement on the respective dates under each signature:
CITY OF TAMARAC through its CITY COUNCIL, signing by and
through its MAYOR and CITY MANAGER, authorized to execute
same by CITY COUNCIL on the _ of 1990
and SCHARF & ASSOCIATES, INC. signing by and through its
President duly authorized to execute same.
