RESOLUTION NO. R-90- —Z/5
A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID #90-25 TO JONES
CHEMICAL INC., TO PROVIDE HYDROFLUOSIL-
ICIC ACID FOR FISCAL YEAR 1990/1991; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward
County, Florida, on Friday, August 31, 1990 and Friday, September 7,
19901 and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Wednesday, September 12, 1990;
and
WHEREAS, Jones Chemical, Inc., is the lowest fully
responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDAi
SECTION 1: That the bid of Jones Chemical, Inc., 1800 NW
22nd Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33311, at an estimated cost of
$5,000.00, for the annual requirement of hydrofluosilicic acid for
fiscal year 1990/1991, Bid #90-25, broken down as follows:
Hydrofluosilicic Acid Bulk Liquid 20-30% strength conforming to AWWA
Standard (ANSI/AWWA B703-89) at .97 per gallon.
Funds to come from Account #425-363-533--527 entitled TUW Chemicals, is
HEREBY APPROVED
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
