A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID #90-26 TO ALLIED
LIME COMPANY TO PROVIDE BULK "RICE SIZE"
QUICKLIME FOR FISCAL YEAR 1990/1991; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News/Sun
Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County,
Florida, on Friday, August 31, 1990 and Friday, September 7, 1990;
and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Wednesday, September 12, 1990; and
WHEREAS, Allied Lime Company is the lowest fully responsive and
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA;
SECTION 1: That the bid of Allied Lime Company, PO Box 36130,
Birmingham, Alabama 35236-6130, at an estimated cost of $130,000.00,
for the annual requirement of bulk "rice size" quicklime for fiscal
year 1990/1991, Bid #90-26, broken down as follows:
