CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-90-025/'_7
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE A SECOND AMENDMENT TO
THE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES FOR THE
TAMARAC MULTI -PURPOSE CENTER, PROJECT
#F88-046/F89-072 AND F90-076, DEPARTMENT OF
NATURAL RESOURCES CONTRACT #C-58-71f
PROVIDING FUNDING: AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA.
SECTION 1: That the appropriate City Officials are
hereby authorized to execute a Second Amendment to the
Agreement with the State of Florida Department of Natural
Resources for the Tamarac Multi -Purpose Center, project
F88-046/F89-072 and F90-076, Department of Natural Resources
Contract #C-58-71, relating to acceptance of a $150,000.00
Grant for the 1990-91 Fiscal Year, a copy of said agreement
being attached hereto as "Exhibit 10.
SECTION 2s That the City Council authorizes the City
Manager to proceed with the expenditure of funds up to
$150,000.00 for the continued construction of the Tamarac
Multi -Purpose Center.
SECTION 3: This resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.

Amendment to Agreement
This Amendment entered into on . -
19 , serves to amend portions of the Agreement, dated June 1,
1989, as amended July 20, 1990, and November 4, 1989, by and
between the Department of Natural Resources, hereinafter referred
to as DEPARTMENT, and the City of Tamarac, hereinafter referred
to as GRANTEE, for the recreational project known as Multi -
Purpose Center, Project JF88-046/F89-072.
In and for the mutual covenants between them, the
DEPARTMENT and the GRANTEE agree that the following amendment
shall apply to the above referenced Agreement: .
Project Number is amended as follows:

Pater graph _41 is amended as follows:
The Florida Legislature has appropriated a total of
$650,000.00 for the recreational project known as Multi -Purpose
Center. The funds were appropriated as follows:

1989-90 $250,000 SIF
1990-91 $150,000 SIF
The project contains the following elements:
Constructing and equipping a multi -purpose recreation
facility and related support facilities and improvements.
EXhibit A. Paragraph _E1) (a) is amended as follows:
Funds for this project shall be released according to the
following:
1988-89 $250,000 90% Advanced
1989-90 $250,000 Advanced in full
1990-91 $150,000 25% Advanced quarterly
is amended as follows:
The Grantee shall complete all grant related development on
or before December 31, 1991.

Amendment and attachments relative thereto shall remain in full
force and effect.
