CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-90- v2,
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL
USE EXCEPTION TO PERMIT THE OPERATION
OF A GAS STATION ON THE NORTHEAST
CORNER OF COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD AND
NORTHWEST 88 AVENUE (PINE ISLAND
ROAD), TAMARAC, REQUESTED BY
JEFFREY L. BERKOWITZ, TRUSTEE;
PETITION #40 Z-89; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for the
granting of special exception to permit the operation of a gas
station on the Northeast corner of Commercial Boulevard and
Northwest 88 Avenue, (Pine Island Road), Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
thereon and has recommended approval of this application; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public has
been given an opportunity to express their views concerning the
application for special exception; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that the
petition for special exception would be in keeping with the public
health, safety and general welfare of the City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA;
SECTION 1: That the petition for special exception to permit
the operation of a gas station on the corner of Commercial Boule-
vard and Northwest 88 Avenue (Pine Island Road), Tamarac, requested
by Jeffrey L. Berkowitz, Trustee, Petition #40-Z-89, is HEREBY
APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
1. Subject to all conditions of the City Code.
