CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-90-
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A WAIVER TO THE
PROVISIONS OF SIGN ORDINANCE 0-89-31
GOVERNING SIGNS REQUESTED BY GLENDALE
FEDERAL BANK, 7186 N. UNIVERSITY DRIVE,
WOODMONT SQUARE, BUILDING A-1,
CONCERNING THE LOGO FOR GLENDALE FEDERAL
ON THE SOUTH ELEVATION; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Glendale Federal Bank has requested a waiver from the
provisions of Sign Ordinance 0-89-31 governing signs; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official has reviewed said waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the waiver to the provisions of Sign Ord-
inance 0-89--31 governing signs requested by Glendale Federal. Bank,
7186 N. University Drive, Woodmont Square, Building A--1, to retain
the use of its unregistered logo letter design by altering the sign
and adding the word "bank" to the sign (i.e., type and style of
letters with a maximum height of 34-inches) on the south elevation,
is HEREBY APPROVED.
