CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-90----C/?
A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION R-89-288
WHICH APPROVED ARTICLES 11 AND 13 OF THE
COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT WITH THE
FEDERATION OF PUBLIC EMPLOYEES (FPE) AND
APPROVING A NEW ARTICLE 11 (WAGES); AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
,MARAC, FLORIDA:
That Resolution R--89-288 is hereby
rescinded.
SECTION 2: That Article 11 entitled "Wages" is hereby
approved.
SECTION 3: That all other provisions of the contract
remain the same, a copy of Article 11 being attached hereto
as" Exhibit A".
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.

EXHIBIT "A"
ARTICLE 11
WAGES
11.1 Effective February 1, 1988, all permanent full-time and all
I•permanent part-time employees (including employees at present "H"
Step of the pay plan), shall receive a four -percent (0) increase.
11.2 The Step Plan in the previous contract is eliminated.
11.3 Effective October 1, 1988, each permanent full-time and
each permanent part-time employee shall receive a four -percent (0 )
increase.
11.4 On October 1, 1989, WAGES for each permanent full-time and
each permanent part-time employee will be determined by a WAGE re -
opener.
11.5 All full-time, permanent employees who have completed 84
months (seven (7) years) of service, shall receive a lumpsum
LONGEVITY payment annually on his/her anniversary date in the amount
*of two -percent (2%) of their annual gross salary. Actual payment
will be made on the next regularly scheduled pay day. All permanent
employees who have received a Longevity payment based on the "H" Step
of the prior contract between October 1, 1987 and February 1, 1988
will waive their right this fiscal year.
11.6 All employees shall receive a four point seven percent
(4.7%) wage increase retroactive to October 1, 1989 for fiscal year
1989/1990.
