CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-90-- _!5�2_
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE
CITY OFFICIALS TO APPROVE A ONE-YEAR
EXTENSION TO THE AGREEMENT WITH
AQUATIC VEGETATION CONTROL, INC.,
(FORMERLY PHK, INC.) FOR WATERWAY
MAINTENANCE FOR PUBLIC AND PRIVATE
WATERWAYS IN LIEU OF GOING TO BID; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on March 11, 1987,
of Resolution R--87-82, approved
waterway maintenance for the
waterways; and
the City Council, by adoption
the bid of PHK, Inc. for
City's private and public
WHEREAS, upon recommendation of the Public Works Director,
the City Council wishes to renew the Agreement with Aquatic
Vegetation Control., Inc., (formerly PHK, Inc.) for one addi-
tional year in lieu of going to bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1:
That the City Council hereby approves a one--
year extension to the Agreement with Aquatic Vegetation
Control, Inc., (formerly PHK, Inc.) in the amount of
$47,400.00 in lieu of going to bid for waterways maintenance of
the City's public and private waterways.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
