RESOLUTION NO. R-90--�
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
STRONGLY SUPPORTING THE COMPLETE COUNT
COMMITTEE'S EFFORTS IN PREPARATION FOR THE
1990 U.S. CENSUS; PROVIDING SUPPORT TO THE
COMMITTEE'S EFFORTS IN PLANNING AND IMPLE-
MENTING LOCAL PROMOTION ACTIVITIES FOR A
COMPLETE RESPONSE TO THE 1990 U.S. CENSUS;
SUPPORTING THE COMMITTEE'S EFFORTS IN
ENCOURAGING COOPERATION OF THE UNITED STATES
DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, BUREAU OF THE CENSUS;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac recognizes the importance
of obtaining the most accurate possible count of all
residents within this community; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Broward
County has created the Complete Count Committee to assist the
United States Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census in
preparation for the 1990 U.S. Decennial census; and
WHEREAS, the Complete Count Committee is established to
plan and implement local promotional activities for the most
complete response to the 1990 U.S. Census; and
WHEREAS, the Complete Count Committee is also
established to encourage cooperation with the Bureau of the
Census;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That the City of Tamarac hereby strongly
urges and supports the Complete Count Committee's efforts in
planning and implementing local promotional activities in
order to achieve the most complete response to the 1990 U.S.
Census.

SECTION 2: That the City of Tamarac hereby 'strongly
urges and supports the Complete Count Committee's efforts in
encouraging all residents in Browrard County,to participate in
the 1990 U.S. Census.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
