CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-90--
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ELIMINATION
OF A DATA ENTRY OPERATOR POSITION WITHIN
THE CITY CLERK'S DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR
THE CREATION OF A CLERK TYPIST POSITION AND
A SECRETARY POSITION WITHIN THE CITY
CLERK'S DEPARTMENT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has expressed an intention to
reorganize that department by the elimination of a position and the
creation of other positions; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reviewed the City Clerk's
planned reorganization and has determined that it is in the City's
best interests; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends adoption of this
Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The City Council hereby authorizes the
elimination of the following position from the City Clerk's
Department:

SECTION 2: The City Council hereby authorizes the creation
.of the following positions within the City Clerk's Department:

1 Clerk Typist 8 7A
1 Secretary 8 12B
SECTION 3: The changes contained in this resolution shall
become effective March 1, 1990.

SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
