CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R--90-7,,2_
A RESOLUTION RELEASING A PERFORMANCE BOND
POSTED FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS BY J.M.
BEESON COMPANY FOR MIDWAY PLAZA; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, J.M. Beeson Company, as Principal, and
Transamerica Insurance Company, as Surety, has filed with the
City Bond No. 5182-73-88 in the amount of $236,576.00 to
guarantee public improvements at Midway Plaza; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineering Department has found that.
the work has been satisfactorily completed and has recommended
release of said bond upon receipt of a one-year warranty bond in
the amount of $77,405.22.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Bond No. 5182-73-88 posted by J.M.
Beeson Company, as Principal, and Transamerica Insurance Company,
as Surety, in the amount of $236,576.00 for public improvements
at Midway Plaza is HEREBY RELEASED, subject to receipt of a one
year warranty bond in the amount of $77,405.22.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption. '
