CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-90-98
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ELIMIN-
ATION OF ONE SENIOR FOREMAN AND TWO
SENIOR SERVICE WORKER POSITIONS WITHIN
THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT AND PROVIDING
FOR THE CREATION OF ONE FLEET SERVICES
COORDINATOR, ONE MECHANIC AND ONE SENIOR
MECHANIC POSITIONS WITHIN THE PUBLIC
WORKS DEPARTMENT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has expressed an
intention to reorganize that department by the elimination
of three positions and the creation of three other
positions; and
WHEREAS, City Manager recommends adoption of this
Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The City Council hereby authorizes the
elimination of the following positions from the Public
Works Department:
POSITION
1) Senior Foreman
2) Senior Service Workers
PAY PLAN RANGE,

SECTION 2: The City Council hereby authorizes the
creation of the following positions in the Public Works
Department:
POSITION
1) Fleet Services
Coordinator
1) Mechanic
1) Senior Mechanic

SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
