CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85-�_
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COLLECTION SYSTEM STUDY
REPORT FOR TAMARAC LAKES SANITARY SEWER PREPARED
BY WILLIAMS, HATFIELD AND STONER, ENGINEERS FOR THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, AS REQUIRED BY THE FLORIDA DEPART-
MENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATION; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is being considered for a
Small Communities Trust Fund Grant; and
WHEREAS, the engineering firm of Williams, Hatfield and
Stoner has prepared a Collection System Study for Project No.
753060 for Tamarac Lakes gravity sewers; and
WHEREAS, Public Hearings were conducted by the Tamarac
City Council on October 10, 1984, and on January 9, 1985, to discuss
and review the Collection System Study and receive input from the
public on this subject; and
WHEREAS, after adequate publication in a regular local
newspaper, the Council discussed the estimated monthly charge for
operation and maintenance and the estimated monthly charge to a
typical residential customer for this proposed Collection System.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the report for the Collection System
Study for Project No. 753060 by Williams, Hatfield and Stoner,
Engineers, for the Tamarac Lakes gravity sewers, is hereby approved
by the City Council.
SECTION 2: That the City Council endorses this Grant
Program and resolves to move forward with the appropriate stages of
installation as soon as the City is notified that an official Grant
Offer has.been made by the Florida Department of Environmental
Regulation.

immediately upon adoption.
