CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXEC = HOLD HAF81LESS
AGREE =S FOR THE BENEFIT OF INDIVIDUALS
SERVING ON PROMOTION PANELS AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE. _.
WHEREAS, it is essential for sane positions in the -City of
Tamarac to conduct oral promotional exams; and
WHEREAS, those individuals sitting on the promotional panels have
requested indemnification against liability for their decision; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate and necessary for the safety and
welfare of the City of Tamarac to provide a procedure for execution of
indemnification agreements so that these promotional panels can function.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: A standard indemnification agreement is attached hereto
as Exhibit "A" and is hereby approved by the City Council.
SECTION 2: The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager
and City Clerk to execute these indemnification agreements on behalf of the
City of Tamarac.
SECTION 3: The authority vested in the City Manager and City Clerk
shall continue uninterrupted until a subsequent resolution be passed withholding
such authority.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately.
