CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R--85- //7
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO CALL THREE PERFORMANCE BONDS
POSTED BY LENNAR HOMES, INC. FOR PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE KINGS POINT
RECREATION COMPLEX; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Lennar Homes, Inc., as Principal, with Citibank,
N.A., as Surety, has filed the following three Letters of Credit to
guarantee public improvements associated with the Kings Point
Recreation Complex project; and
WHEREAS, the Letters of Credit are due to expire and there
was not properly completed work; and
WHEREAS, the Principal has been notified that the work is
not properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the recitations found above are true and
correct.
SECTION 2: That the following Letters of Credit posted by
Lennar Homes, Inc., as Principal, and Citibank, N.A., as Surety, are
hereby called by the City of Tamarac if extensions have not been
provided to said Letters -of Credit by 4/11/85:
NABG-R90760F - $61,240.50 - Paving/Drainage
NABG-R90761F - 2,750.00 - Landscaping
NABG-R90762F - 18,625.00 - Sidewalks/Curbing
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
