RESOLUTION NO. R-85- o.>—
A RESOLUTION ISSUING REVISED DEVELOPMENT ORDER
NO. 56-4 FOR A REVISED SITE PLAN FOR KINGS POINT
RECREATIONAL COMPLEX; AND PROVIDINjQ..AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instructions of the City Council.of
Tamarac, Florida, a public meeting has been advertised in accordance
with applicable law of the date, time and place of the meeting regar
ing the review of the application for a revised development order by
the applicant for development approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined and investigated the
application and staff recommendations; and the attached Development
Review Status Sheet dated 1/4/85; and
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the development order and
accompanying documents at a public meeting; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the application is
in compliance with all elements of the Comprehensive Plan, or will be
in compliance prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for
the development that is the subject of the application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application for approval of a revised site
plan for Kings Point Recreational Complex, prepared by F & R Builders,
Inc., January 2, 1985, to reflect a canopy over the entrance to the
clubhouse, is approved subject to the following conditions:
A. Construction is to be in complete compliance with the plans
and specifications submitted by the developer to the City of Tamarac
as described in Section II of the Development Review Status Sheet and
Japproved engineering drawings.
B. Commencement of construction shall be no longer than one year
from the date of this approval. If the development does not commence
construction within one year, this approval is null and void unless an
extension has been granted in accordance with applicable regulations.
C. The revised development order is assignable, but an assignmen
does not discharge any assignee from strict compliance with the order

1 unless the City Council consents to modify any of the original

3 D. Additional conditions established in order to issue the
4 revised development order are set forth as follows:
5 1. All prior conditions of approval ar&%still in effect and
6 valid.

9 SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this revised
10 development order be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to
11 be invalid, the City Council shall determine if the other portions of
12 the order remain valid or whether the approval shall be null and void.
13 SECTION 3: This revised development order as conditioned shall
14 become effective immediately upon its passage.
