CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLTUION NO. R-85-122
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS AND ALTERNATE
MEMBERS TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND
ESTABLISHING TERMS OF OFFICE PURSUANT TO
CHAPTER 28 OF THE CODE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Article III, Chapter 28 of the City Code
created a Planning Commission and provided the term of office of
Planning Commissioner shall expire on April 15 of the appropriate
year; and
WHEREAS, Section 28-19 provides that not more than
five (5) alternate members to the Planning Commission shall be
appointed by Council to serve for one (1) year terms, expiring
April 15th; and
WHEREAS, Council desires to implement the provisions
of Article III of Chapter 28 of the Code, by appointing members and
alternate members to the Planning Commission in compliance with the
terms of the Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the following persons are hereby
appointed as members of the Planning Commission to serve for a term of
two (2) years expiring April 15, 1987,...__._..
EMIL BEUTNER CARL ALPER
SECTION 2: That the following persons are hereby
appointed as alternate members of the Planning Commission to serve
for a term of one (1) year, expiring April 15, 1986:
JERRY LIEBOWITZ JOSEPH M. SUITER
LEE RAPPEPORT
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
