CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85-�
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
THE AMENDMENT TO DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH
THE FLORIDA RECREATION DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT
TO CREATE A SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT FOR
THE TAMARAC WILDLIFE PRESERVE; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTJyF.
WHEREAS, the City Council approves the amendment to
Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program Development
Agreement dated July 6, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approves the creation of a
special construction account to facilitate the Tamarac
Wildlife Preserve project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
aECT1QN__1: That the City Council authorizes the Mayor
to execute the Florida Recreation Development Assistance
Program Amendment to Development Agreement, attached as
Exhibit "A". The proper city officials are directed to
forward two (2) executed copies to the Florida Department of
Natural Resources.
SECTI_U _Z: The Finance Department is authorized to
transfer $27,700.00 from the Parks and Recreation Fund to a
New Capital Construction Fund entitled Tamarac Wildlife
Preserve. The Florida Department of Natural Resources will
reimburse the City for up to $17,800.00, and these funds
shall be deposited to the Parks and Recreation Fund as re-
ceived.
SECTIQ3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon passage.

Florida Rccreation Development Assistance Program
Amendment to Development Agreement
This Amendment serves to amend portions of the
Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program Development
Agreement, dated July 6 1983 , by and between the
Department of Natural Resources, hereinafter referred to as
DEPARTMENT, and the Citv of Tamarac hereinafter
referred to as PROJECT SPONSOR for the development of
Tamarac Wildlife.Ereserve, FRDAP Project # 11--62-22
IT IS WITNESSETH that in and for the mutal covenants
between the DEPARTMENT and the PROJECT SPONSOR , it is
agreed that the following amendments shall apply to the above
referenced Development Agreement:
PARAGRAPI #5:
Reduce Program Amount to $17,800.00.
Reduce Program Sponsor Match to $8,900.00.
Reduce the amount of program funds the Department shall retain
until completion of the project to $1,780.00.
PARAGRAPH #3•
Revise Exhibit E to eliminate: Dredging and filling of land.
Resloping of selective canal banks.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused these
presents to be executed by the officers or agents there -unto law-
fully authorized.
