CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85- 127
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION
FOR ON -PREMISES CONSUMPTION OF BEER AND WINE
AT MANO/BAL, INC., D/B/A SURF & TURF RESTAURANT,
5435 N. STATE ROAD 7; PETITION #9-Z-85; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The Code of the City of Tamarac provides for the
granting of special exception to permit the on -premises consumption
of beer and wine at Surf & Turf Restaurant, 5435 N. State Road 7,
Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and the public
has been given an opportunity to express their views concerning the
application for special exception; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that
the petition fo.r special exception would be in keeping with the
public health, safety and general welfare of the City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the petition for special exception to
permit on -premises consumption of beer and wine requested by Mano/Bal,
Inc., d/b/a Surf & Turf Restaurant, at 5435 N. State Road 7, petition
#9-Z-85, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
1 - The sale of beer and wine is prohibited on any day between the
hours of 2:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and on Sundays from 2:01 a.m.
to 12:00 noon, local time.
2 - This special exception is not transferable to any other individua
or location without City Council approval.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 10th day of April 1985.
