CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85--/37/
A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO DISPOSITION OF A
WARRANTY BOND POSTED BY LAKESIDE APARTMENTS,
PARTNERSHIP, FOR THE LAKESIDE APARTMENTS
PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Lakeside Apartments, partnership, as Principal,
with the Ohio Casualty Insurance Company, as Surety, has filed with
the City a warranty bond in the amount of $32,027.21 to guarantee
public improvements associated with the Lakeside Apartments project;
and
WHEREAS, the bond is due to expire and there is not
properly completed work; and
WHEREAS, the Principal has been notified that the work is
not properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the recitations as set forth above are
true and correct.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are hereby
authorized to call the warranty bond in the amount of $32,027.21 to
guarantee public improvements associated with the Lakeside Apartments
project if the remedial `repairs are not completed on or before
April 19, 1985, or if the bond has not been extended by that date.
SECTION 3: That said bond be released if the remedial
repairs are accomplished on or before April 19, 1985.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
