CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85-Z
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DISPOSITION OF
A SURPLUS VEHICLE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Acting Public Works Director and the Purchasing
Officer have notified the City Council that a 1982 Chevrolet,
Serial Number IAW69HOCR225199 (Police Department Unit #147), was
involved in an accident in August, 1983, and no longer meets the
criteria for use by the City; and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that this vehicle be declared
surplus and authorized for disposal as scrap.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to accept this recommenda-
tion and proceed to dispose of this vehicle as scrap.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the 1982 Chevrolet is declared to be surplus
City property and is authorized to be disposed of as scrap.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon adoption.
