CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85-/�/�/
A RESOLUTION RELEASING A PERFORMANCE BOND
POSTED FOR WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
BY LENNAR HOMES, INC., FOR BELFORT PHASE I
PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Lennar Homes, Inc. as Principal, and
Manufacturers National Bank of Detroit, as Surety, -has filed with
the City Letter of Credit #82548 in the amount of $40,566.00 to
guarantee water system improvements and Letter of Credit #82547 in
the amount of $36,832.00 to guarantee the sewer system improvements
for Belfort Phase I Project; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has found that the
work has been satisfactorily completed and has recommended release of
said Letters of Credit upon receipt of one-year warranty bonds and
payment of additional engineering fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Letters of Credit # 82548 and 82547
posted by Lennar Homes, Inc., as Principal, and Manufacturers
National Bank of Detroit, as Surety, in the amounts of $40,566.00
and $36,832.00 for water and sewer system improvements for Belfort,
Phase I Project, are HEREBY RELEASED, subject to the following
conditions:
1. Receipt of a one-year warranty bond in the amount
of $12,356.15 for the water system improvements.
2. Receipt of a one-year warranty bond in the amount
of $12,899.25 for the sewer system improvements.
3. Payment of additional engineering fees due in the
amount of $2,488.94.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
