CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. RR�8511
A RESOLUTION REGARDING SALARY AND BENEFITS
FOR THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY ATTORNEY
SUPERSEDING RESOLUTIONS R-82--145, R-83-325
AND R-84-2-U AND FROVID N F-FBCT1VE -_DATE L,
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved Union Contracts
for City Employees and has approved salary increases and
benefit packages for non -union employees; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to review the salaries
and benefits earned by City Manager Elly Johnson and City
Attorney Jon Henning, who are both City Council appointees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
,SECTION 1: That the City Manager and City Attorney
shall receive the benefits outlined in the Executive/Manager-
ial Plan listed as Subsections 2.c.l.b. through 2.c.l.e. and
2.c.l.h. through 2.c.1.j. in Resolution R-85-6.
SECTIQN__2: That the City Manager shall receive a salary
increase of 5%.
SB _T QN 3: That the City Attorney shall receive a
salary increase of 9%.
EECCT -QV 4: That the City Manager and City Attorney
shall receive a car allowance of $200.00 per month.
SECTION-1: That Resolutions R-82-145 and R-83-325
regarding the City and Resolution R-84-283 regarding the City
Manager are repealed to the extent of any conflict provided
herein.
SECT Q_l___E: That the above provisions of this resolu-
tion shall be effective retroactively to October 1, 1984.
aBLITION 1: That effective January 23, 1985 the City
Manager is hereby removed from probation which was estab-
lished in Resolution R-84-283.
