CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85-.)f'�
A RESOLUTION REQUIRING WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION
BY CERTAIN CITY OFFICIALS PRIOR TO THE WIRE
TRANSFER OF FUNDS OR NON -CHECK CHARGES
AGAINST THE CITY'S DEPOSITORY ACCOUNT; AND
PROVIDING AN _DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that although most
financial transactions are made by check, there are occasions
when wire transfers of funds or non -check charges against the
City's depository account are made; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that under certain
conditions, with appropriate safeguards, these transactions
are desirable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That wire transfers of funds and non -check
charges against the City's depository account are hereby
authorized, provided that written authorization is recorded
by the Mayor, City Manager and the Finance Director or any of
their designees on a form approved by the City Manager prior
to the actual transaction. A copy of the fully executed
authorization form shall be sent by the City Manager to the
members of the City Council at the time of execution.
SECTION-2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
