R-85-te0/ A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REJECTION OF A BID FOR 500-FEET OF QUAD HOSE WITHOUT FITTINGS; BID #85-24; AUTHORIZING THE APPOPRIATE CITY OFFICIALS TO ENTER INTO _NEGOTIATION WITH RPPROPRIATE VENDORS FOR PROCUREMENT OF THIS MATERIAL; AND PROVIDING AN WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County on June 11 and June 18, 1985; and WHEREAS, bids were opened on June 21, 1985; and WHEREAS, Cues, Inc., was the sole bidder; and WHEREAS, staff has recommended the City Council reject this bid and authorize the appropriate City officials to enter into negotiations with appropriate vendors for the procurement of this material. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the bid of Cues, Inc., in the amount of $3,680.47, is HEREBY REJECTED. ,SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to enter into negotiations with the appro- priate vendors for procurement of this material.
