CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85-203
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A FEE FOR A SPECIAL
PERMIT ALLOWING EXTENDED HOURS OF SERVICE OF ALCO-
HOLIC BEVERAGES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY OF
INVALID PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE,
WHEREAS, Ordinance O-$5-38 (Temp. Ord. #1203) provides
that establishments desiring to serve alcoholic beverages
during certain designated extended hours must apply for a .
special permit from the City Council; and
WHEREAS, such Ordinance provides for the City Council to
establish a fee for such special permit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That a fee of $ 500.00 is hereby
established as the fee for the granting of a special permit
allowing a three (3) year period for an establishment to
serve alcoholic beverages during certain designated extended
hours. The same fee shall be required for any renewal of
such special permit.
SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remainder hereof as whole or any part hereof, other than
the part declared to be invalid.
: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
